Would you like to sample some of the best that Brooklyn has to offer? With your support of No Kid Hungry, you will have the chance to get your hands on this sweet & savory gift set from the fine folks at With Love, From Brooklyn

A group of scrappy farmers, urban beekeepers, and inventive chefs are revolutionizing the Brooklyn food system. From rooftop produce to honey from city bees, these ultra-local treats are the perfect gift.

Meg Paska, of Brooklyn Homesteader and Hayseeds Big City Farm Store, has assembled a selection of items featuring locally-grown, organic produce including: Saucy by Nature Pumpkin-Ginger Sauce, Brooklyn Grange homegrown honey and hot sauce, King’s County Grass-Fed Beef Jerky, Anarchy in a Jar Hot Fireman’s Pear Jam, and a verdant Claudia Pearson tea towel (Total retail value: $85).

Saucy by Nature Pumpkin-Ginger Sauce: Local pumpkin, spiced with ginger, turmeric, and chiles. Add coconut milk for a warming soup or use straight from the jar as a perfect topping for stuffed pasta.

Brooklyn Grange Hot Sauce: Rooftop peppers and herbs spice things up. Brooklyn Grange hot sauce gets its soulful kick from their homegrown rooftop harvest.

Brooklyn Grange Honey: Harvested from beehives high above the city streets, Brooklyn Grange honey is a rare urban delight.

King’s County Beef Jerky: Handcrafted from grass-fed beef and seasoned with a proprietary blend of spices. King’s County Jerky is a preservative-free flavor revelation.

Anarchy in a Jar Hot Fireman’s Pear Jam: Combines sweet pears with smoky chipotle chiles––and benefits a neighborhood fire department.

Claudia Pearson Tea Towel - 100% cotton, vibrant illustrations of local vegetables. Feature Claudia Pearson’s art in your kitchen, with this Brooklyn tea towel—illustrated with local vegetables for every season.
